Walk with the wise (Rubbing shoulders)
Who are you rubbing shoulders with? I'm a firm believer in the scripture "if we walk with the wise we will grow wise." We did a video series with Dave Ramsey a while back (He's the big money guy if you don't know who is - just google Dave Ramsey.) And one of the things he was talking about was being selective of who you choose to spend time with.
This has always been important to me, but hearing him reiterate it has been invigorating for me. Who are the leaders I spend time with? Who are the songwriters I spend time with? Who are the people who's attitude you'd like to emulate that you spend time with? Who are the people that have skills you'd like to learn that you spend time with?
So, seriously, where do you go to "walk with the wise?" What are you doing to rub shoulders with other worship leaders?
